Kevin “Moses” Eugene Moses

July, 27, 1955 - August 8, 2025

Kevin “Moses” Eugene Moses, age 55, of Levering, Michigan, died on Sunday, August 8, 2025 at his home from head and neck cancer. Kevin was born on July 27, 2025 at Fort Monroe Army Base in Virginia, the son of Stewart E. and Hazel Joan (Frederick) Moses.

Moses was the ultimate human Harley Davidson Motorcycle walking encyclopedia. He knew more about Harley Davidson motorcycles than Willie G. himself. Moses made a lot of long distance motorcycle trips with his friends. He was employed as the shop manager for Stu’s Electric Motors for most of his adult life.

Survivors include his parents, Stewart and Joan Moses of Mt. Pleasant, his sister, Karla (Jim Stuber) Moses of Vogel Center, Michigan, his most “Magnificent Obsession” Sharron Sprague, his beloved dog, Hou, aunts and uncles: Dave and Jan Frederick of Mattawan, Michigan, Dorotha Frederick of DeWitt, Michigan, and Don and Wilda Frederick of the Upper Peninsula; and his awesome care givers, Peggy and Dan Methner, Bruce Luick, Mark and Sandy Hall, and Gary Wyse, who deserve a special thanks for everything they did for Kevin.

A Celebration Life Event for Moses will be held at a later date. The family requests that memorial contributions in Kevin’s memory be made to: Vogel Store, 9979 S. 8 Mile Road, McBain, Michigan 49657 to assist with Jim’s battle with cancer and medical bills.

Going to miss ya old friend, We had a good ride in March. Pulled the side car off the ground coming around the corner of Winn Rd. and Pickard!! I thought you dumped your Amish muffins in the road!! Got back to the shop and had a good laugh, thought we shouldn''t do that again. ha ha ha! But thank the good Lord, he's watching out for us. Would have got up to see ya on bikes but lost my license due to a couple too many beers!! But at least got to talk with ya a few weeks ago. You said come on up there was plenty of room, but didn't make it, sorry. Catch ya in route on the next long ride. A lot of good times back in the old Ben Traines Days workin on Harley Motorcycles. Didn't make it down to pick up my old 69' HD Sprint, but I'm sure it will still be in the shack! See all you friends at a later date.
